In a Living Lab system, through open innovation this collective intelligence can be directed to develop innovative products, marketing strategies, to solve specific business problems, or improve internal processes. In “My Starbucks Idea” Starbucks uses a similar approach to motivate the customers to submit, vote-up, and comment on innovative ideas for products, customer experience and community involvement.
